Alcohol is prohibited inside the Merrell Center as well as the parking lot. All persons who are found at the facilities with alcohol in their possession will be handled by event security.
Appropriate guest behavior must include respect for all others at all times.
Guests must wear shirts and shoes at all times.
Smoking is prohibited in and around the exterior of the Merrell Center in accordance with education code 38.006
Guests may not interfere with the event, the artists, and/or athletes in any manner
Guests shall refrain from using offensive language, fighting, obscene gestures, throwing objects, and/or engaging in other behavior, deemed detrimental to the experience of other guests.
Guests may not stand on seats or any other building structure.
Guests may not block aisles.
Guests shall comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operational and emergency procedures.
Guests are encouraged to report inappropriate or offensive behavior to any Merrell Center event staff member.
Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in eviction from the arena without a ticket refund.
Guests shall comply with all rules and regulations of Merrell Center at all times while on the premises.
Cameras/Photography
Small, non-professional cameras may be brought into the Merrell Center. The camera policy is subject to change depending upon the event’s camera policy.
Tripods, monopods and other camera supporting devices must be contained to the seating area and will not be allowed in any aisles or walking spaces.
Binoculars are allowed.
Emergency Information
Due to the numerous announcement requests we receive each event, the Merrell Center will not be able to make public address announcements on behalf of patrons.
Emergency Evacuation – In the event of an emergency, Merrell Center personnel have been instructed and trained to assist you in evacuating the premises.
Please see a Merrell Center event staff member nearest you if you have an emergency and seek assistance.
Parking Lots
The consumption of alcohol is prohibited by state law.
All patrons shall comply with the posted rules and regulations at all times.

Skateboards and/or Rollerblades
Tripods and other equipment that could pose a tripping hazards
Un-Approved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
Any other item deemed to be Inappropriate or Dangerous by Merrell Center management

Permitted Items
Purses and diaper bags
Purses and diaper bags must adhere to the Katy ISD Clear Bag Regulation Found here.
Umbrellas. Please Note: Umbrellas may not be permitted for some events.
Signs are allowed as long as they are not derogatory, obscene, do not block the view of other guests and are not attached to a pole of kind. (The sign policy is subject to change depending on each show’s individual policy.) As a general rule, the size limit of signs is 24"x24".
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in and around the exterior of the Merrell Center in accordance with education code 38.006.
This applies to all facilities and spaces on Katy ISD grounds. Including but not limited to: the LDR Pavilion and Rodeo Arena, all parking lots, sidwalks and walkways surrounding the Merrell Center.
Anyone observed smoking inside the facility shall be asked to extinguish the item immediately. Any person who refuses to comply with the policy shall be subject to ejection from the facility.
Ticketing
Guests may not occupy a seat and remain in an area from which they do not possess a valid ticket.
Re-Entry may vary depending on the event.
Guests are required to have their ticket on their person at all times and must provide their ticket upon request.
The reselling of tickets at any price on the premises is prohibited.
Guests shall comply with the rules and regulations printed on the back of his/her admission ticket at all times.
